This charming home has many small collectable china figurines, Regency Revival furniture, Dresden style and Capodimonte figural lamps and vintage objects of interest.

We are giving great bargains and most everything is very inexpensive!​

Included in this sale are several Italian Regency Revival high-back chairs, Regency Revival side tables, coffee tables, a Vitrine cabinet display case and a pink satin upholstered Regency Revival sofa. There are numerous china hutches, dressers and a partial vintage Italian bedroom set. Other furniture includes cast aluminum and iron patio furniture and a top of the line electric hospital bed.

There are two vintage 1950s Okeefe and Merritt gas stoves and an enormous Jacuzzi (in need of restoration). There is a large collection of vintage china, glass wear and porcelain figurines, some are Dresden, Capodimonte, or “Made in Japan”. There are examples of Limoges, Chinese, American and British porcelain. There is a partial set of vintage Blue and White, “Blue Willow” and vintage Asian “Famille Rose” china. Also included are large size woman’s clothing including mink stoles and costume jewelry. Also there are many invalid care items including an Oxygen tank, high end Electric Hospital Bed, wheel chair and numerous canes.

Antique furniture is a big investment and, well, a big thing to cart home. Before you put time and money into one of these purchases, check out our tips for buying antique furniture – then enjoy the hunt for something unique!

1). Research, research, research

There’s so much to learn about antique furniture! Before you start browsing and seriously making purchases, read as much as you can about antique furniture – especially if there is a certain time period or style that you really like. The more educated you are about the furniture, the easier it will be to spot reproductions and overpriced items.

2). Look for the mark from the manufacturer or maker

Most antique furniture has some kind of mark from the person or place that was responsible for building it – often in places that people wouldn’t see, like the inside of a dresser drawer or the backside of a piece.

3). Look for signs of age

Since the trend now is to make furniture look antique, you might come across a piece that someone has modified to look older than it is. But, there are some telltale signs – first, look for imperfections. If something was handmade, then there will be variations in the woodwork – if everything looks exactly uniform, then there’s reason to be suspicious.

Toluca Lake Estate Sale, Apartment full of books, Cds, records and collectables. The apartment was the man cave of a Theology professor and is full of books on art, anthropology, history, philosophy, architecture, Art, California history plus world religions. The Lps and Cds are mostly Folk music. He was in the army just after WW2 and had memorabilia from that era. There is also a mixture of furniture, artwork and household items. The furniture includes the following: English Dark wood Jacobean style Court Cupboard or buffet, Mid century modern Lane “Rhythm” dresser, Mid century modern wall unit and shelves, 1960’s hexagonal white faugh bamboo table, dining chair set, several vintage dressers and highboys, Grandfather clock, nice Cedar chest, leather 50’s armchair, floor lamps, Hospital adjustable Invalid bed, very cool 60’s vintage Lucite screen, bookshelves, etc. There is men’s clothing and shoes (some vintage) and costume jewelry, stereo and electronics, etc. There are a lot of vintage kitchen items, and small appliances, toaster oven vintage wool blankets, bedding, vintage toys and lots of slides.
